Book Club & Bubbles is a relaxed monthly book club bringing readers together with the author for an open, in-person discussion — with the option of a glass of bubbles on arrival.
Each month, guests are invited to read the selected book ahead of the event before joining us at the Royal Bath Hotel for an informal, author-led conversation. This is your chance to ask questions, share thoughts, and explore the book in greater depth, directly with the author themselves.
Designed to be welcoming and conversational rather than formal, Book Club & Bubbles is about enjoying great books, thoughtful discussion, and good company — whether you come for the fizz or simply for the conversation.
How It Works
- A new book and guest author are announced each month
- Guests read the book in advance of the event
- We meet in person for a relaxed, author-led discussion
- Questions and discussion are encouraged in a friendly, informal setting

Ticket Options
We offer two ticket options — both include full access to the discussion and author.
🥂 Book Club & Bubbles – Prosecco Included (£8.00)
Includes entry to the book club plus a glass of Prosecco on arrival.
📖 Book Club Only (£3.50)
Includes entry to the book club discussion. Guests choosing this option are welcome to purchase their own drinks from the hotel bar.
Bubbles are entirely optional — the discussion is the heart of the event.
